The CCHL is holding it's Draft on Thursday April 18th, 6:00pm at the Nepean Sportsplex Rink 3, where the selections will be announced. The draft is for U16 & U18 aged players. All U16 AAA & AA are eligible, along with U18AAA & Jr B players who are not on a CCHL protected list at this time. The birth years involved are 2006, 2007 & 2008.
The Draft is comprised of 2 "protect" selections for each team. Protects selections result in players going to the team interested in them, that they live closest to. Then there will be 10 rounds of a traditional draft, completed in reverse order of standings of the CCHL teams during the 2023-24 season.
