Silver Seven Day
Annually every Ottawa Valley Silver Seven team in our association comes together on the same ice to play and recognize the importance of community.
This year we will once again be running a food drive and dooing the 50/50 draw in support of the Lanark Food Bank.
-Back by popular demand 613 Athletics will be running all our Silver Seven teams pre-game warm-ups
- Games played by all of our teams
- 50/50 Draw
- Both home and visiting teams will be awarded players of the game annd both teams will be given sports hydration drinks (such as Gatorade) afterwards
- Following each game, S7 teams will have their pictures taken by MVP photos
- Collection of non-perishable food items for the Lanark Food Bank
- Team fundraising tables with raffle tickets, Jibbitz & hockey wax
- Canteen wiil be open all day serving up coffee, tea, hot chocolate, hot dogs, chilli & bun, drinks and sweet treats
Each team is expected to provide:
- Volunteers per team to help run the 50/50 draw throughout the day and help collect the donated food items
