Player’s Dressing Room Agreement

 
OVSS has a number of policies designed to ensure player, parent and spectator safety, preserve OVSS equipment, and   ensure   OVSS   provides   a  productive   and positivelearningenvironmentforouryounghockeyplayers. 
 

While in the dressing room – 

  • I willalways be respectful and listen to and follow the instructions of my coaches and assigned dressing room monitors. 
  • I will avoid situations where I am the only player in the locker room. If I am one of the last two players in the locker room, I will stay and depart with the other player so that no player is left alone in a locker room. 
  • I will stickhandle and perform other hockey warm-up drills only as designated by my coaches. 
  • I will always leave the locker room clean and in good condition, both at my home rink and away. 
  • I will not be in a locker room alone with an adult (except my own parent(s)) ever. 
  • I will not enter the locker/dressing room of an opposing team or the officials or obstruct their access. 
  • I will not deface or destroy property belonging to any individual, team, association, or arena. 
  • I will not wrestle, box, shove, push or engage in physical contact of any manner.
  • I will not throw items around the dressing room.
  • I will not yell, scream or shout. Conversation is to be kept at a comfortable level.
  • I will not bring any camera, cell phone or other photographic device into a locker room.
  • I will not touch any equipment or clothing that is not mine.
I understand that by signing this agreement I promise to uphold the OVSS Dressing Room Agreement. I realize that violation of this Agreement may result in loss of ice-time, suspension for part of or all of a game, or even ejection from the OVSS Program.
